- Apply Base Coat: Apply a base coat to your nails and cure under a UV/LED lamp.
- Apply Stamping Polish: Apply a layer of DARK Stamping Polish to the design on the stamping plate.
- Scrape Excess Polish: Use a scraper to remove any excess polish from the plate.
- Transfer Design: Roll a silicone stamp over the design to pick up the polish.
- Apply to Nails: Transfer the design to your nails by pressing the stamp onto the nail surface.
- Cure: Cure the design under a UV/LED lamp.
- Finish with Top Coat: Apply a top coat for a long-lasting, polished finish.
WHY A DESIGN MAY NOT TRANSFER TO THE STAMP:
- The nail polish should not be too thick. Make sure to pick up enough polish with the brush to adequately cover the design.
- Apply the polish to the stamping plate in 1-2 quick strokes. The longer you take, the worse the transfer might be because the polish starts drying in the air.
- Use the scraper at an angle of approximately 45 degrees, applying light pressure to avoid “pushing out” the polish from the design.
- Work quickly with the scraper—2-4 strokes are sufficient. Avoid making broad strokes across the entire plate.
- Immediately put down the scraper and take the stamp in your hand. Remember, time is of the essence when working with stamping polishes.
- Transfer the design onto the stamp with a gentle rolling motion. Do not press the stamp firmly into the plate; the harder you press, the more polish will remain in the plate instead of transferring to the stamp.
