HOW TO SECURE THE POWDER?

Many nail artists are hesitant to use rub-in powders because they often “slide off” the nail. However, this is not a rule but rather the result of improper application. As with any design, it is essential to follow the steps precisely.

APPLICATION METHOD:

1. Prepare the nail plate as usual.
2. Apply a base or gel layer. Cure in the lamp for 120 seconds.
3. Apply the base color you want under the rub-in. This can be any shade, even a nude or clear base. Cure in the lamp for 90 seconds.
4. Apply a no-wipe top coat. Cure for 60 seconds. Alternatively, degrease the nail and rub in the powder.
5. If rubbing the powder into the top coat, while it is still warm, apply the powder with an applicator or finger. Brush off excess with a soft brush. Cure for 30 seconds.
6. Lightly file the edges or buff them.
7. Seal the nail edges with a thin layer of base (using a fine brush). Cure for 30 seconds.
8. Finish with a top coat, sealing the nail edge. Cure for 120 seconds.

IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS:
