Candy Gel – a polymer light-curing material known for its strength, allowing significant extension of the nail plate. It contains photo-initiators that trigger polymerization when exposed to ultraviolet light at a specific wavelength.

APPLICATION METHOD:

NAIL STRAIGHTENING

1. Removal.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm length to remove after leveling.
3. File with a 220-grit file gently or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. If using removers, wash hands with soap afterward.
6. Degrease the nail with Nail Prep LUNAmoon, in two steps. Use four wipes (one per five nails). First, wipe the nail surface; second, wrap a wipe on an orange stick and clean the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer use is optional; if the base is sufficiently acidic, it’s unnecessary.
8. Apply Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush, pressing into the nail and curing for 60 seconds.
9. Remove tackiness.
10. Level the surface with gel, leaving a 0.5–1 mm gap from the cuticle, and cure for 60 seconds.
11. File the shape to form a sturdy edge.
12. If the nail was thin, file 1 mm from the underside to prevent material separation.
13. After filing, remove tackiness and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat, curing for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to maintain gloss.

CLASSIC NAIL EXTENSION

1. Removal
2. Shorten nail to 1 mm, shaping round.
3. File with a 220-grit file gently or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform a manicure.
5. Wash hands with soap if using removers.
6. Degrease with Nail Prep LUNAmoon in two steps, using four wipes (one per five nails).
7. Use LUNAmoon primer.
8. Apply Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat brush, covering sidewalls, and cure for 60 seconds.
9. Remove tackiness.
10. Place the form for free-edge extension.
11. Create artificial nail shape with clear gel and cure for 30 seconds.
12. File and shape the free edge.
13. Remove tackiness and dust.
14. Reapply Rubber Base LUNAmoon on filed areas, curing for 30 seconds.
15. Level with gel, pinching at 10–15 seconds if sticky, or 20 seconds if glittery.
16. Cure for another 120 seconds.
17. Remove tackiness before applying gel polish.
18. Apply top coat, curing for 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to maintain gloss.
